The features of the CodeMan® Section IX - (Welding) module are as
follows:

Welder Qualification Tracking:
Provides a means to add, edit, delete, and track welders' current (accumulated)
qualifications.
Provides various welder qualification reports.
- Allows users to
generate welder qualification expiration reports based on user
specified time periods.
- Allows users to
generate welder continuity reports for all or individual welders
within the qualification database.
Provides searches to determine welder qualification expirations due
within a user specified time period.
Provides welder process continuity tracking.
- Welder continuity
is automatically logged and tracked by the program when welder
performance qualification test are given.
- Continuity updates
can be easily entered to maintain accurate continuity information for
welder in-process use.
Welder Performance
Qualifications:
- Provides a means
to add, edit, delete, and track welder performance qualification
tests.
- Allows pre-defined
standard performance qualification tests to be logged.
- The standard
performance qualification test can be selected for fast
and easy screen data entry.
- Provides the
qualifications obtained for each performance qualification test
performed.
- Welder
qualifications are determined by the system.
- Updates a welder's
current qualifications based on the performance qualification test
performed.
- The program
evaluates the welder's current qualifications for the
particular process parameters, evaluates the qualifications
obtained
for the performance qualification test and updates the
qualifications
based on the results of the evaluations.
- Allows hard copies
of the performance qualification test to be printed.
- The performance
qualification test report contains the test performed
and the qualifications obtained.
- Provides various
welder performance qualification test reports.
Welding Procedure Qualification Records
(PQR):
- Provides a means
to add, edit, delete, and track procedure qualification records.
- Allows graphical
joint designs to be developed and linked to the PQR.
- Welding procedure
specifications (WPS) can be generated from user specified PQR's.

Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs):
- Allows the user to
add and edit their approved welding procedure specifications (WPSs).
- Allows graphical
joint designs to be developed, linked, and approved for individual WPSs.

Report
Module:

Welder WPS qualifications and any WPS limits a welder
may have can be viewed or printed.
|
|

|
Users can specify various WPS parameters to find
qualified welders for the specified criteria.
|
|

Numerous reports and print-outs can be generated to
obtain data information from CodeMan®:
- Procedure
qualification record (PQR) print-out;
- Welding
procedure specification (WPS) print-out;
- Welder
performance qualification test reports;
- Welder
continuity reports;
- Welder weld
process expiration reports;
- Welder weld
process qualification reports;
- Welder WPS
qualification reports.

A copy of CodeMan® reports is included with
each CodeMan® Welding Section IX. Additional copies of the report
module can be purchased separately to allow various personnel access to
welder and welding related information.
